An American corporation, the manufacturer and supplier of flavors and fragrances used in the food, beverage, personal care and household products is looking for an AP accountant to join Controllership team in Kyiv. The role reports to the Chief accountant.
Job requirements:
• Knowledge & Experience:
Master's/Bachelor`s degree in accounting, finance or other related field
1-3 years of accounting experience
Knowledge of UA GAAP, the Tax Code of Ukraine
English not less than B1 level
Prior experience in an international environment will be an advantage

Responsibilities:
Processing of all outgoing payments (in local and foreign currency) in a timely manner ensuring full authorization procedures have been followed
Recording vendor payments and transactions related to accounts payable (incl. import of goods and services)
Recording incoming VAT invoices and adjustments
Recording the cost of newly-acquired fixed assets (both tangible and intangible), tracking existing fixed assets, recording depreciation, and accounting for the disposition of fixed assets
Liaising with banks regarding users accesses, documents & reports submission, etc.
Performing accounts reconciliations ensuring compliance with corporate policy
Supporting internal and external audit, month-end closing process
