Bayer Ltd, a leading multinational company, is opening a position of Fixed Assets Accountant (outsourced position)

Major tasks and responsibilities: 

  • Maintain Fixed Assets, LVAs and spare parts accounting under IFRS and company policies for local and group reporting, tax area for 2 UA legal entities
  • Control and support of lease contracts accounting under IFRS16 and company’s policies requirements
  • Creation and control on supporting primary documents for FA, LVAs and spares accounting
  • Collaboration and close communication with FA shared service centers on FA related questions: requests creation and control, inputs providing, solving of technical issues
  • Perform and check G/L journal entries, registers and accounts reconciliations
  • Perform Period close activities and create supporting files 
  • FA purchasing documentation review 
  • Communication with engineering and other requestors on Projects status, scope of capital investments, supporting services
  • Participate in FA and inventory physical counts, control of differences reflection in the accounting system properly and in line with the local and corporate requirements
  • Support of projects, new activities or transactions with accounting expertise in FA under IFRS and company’s policies. Documental support of FA transfer, lease, sale.
  • Quarterly local reporting to statistics 
  • Inputs to companies’ Financial reporting and CPT return
  • Assist with annual and interim financial audit requests
  • Other duties and reporting as assigned to meet department and company requirements

Skills, experience and qualifications: 

  • Degree in business/economics, finance, accounting or any other related field
  • 5+ years of accounting/finance experience, preferably in multinational companies within manufacturing environment
  • Practical experience in a similar position is a plus
  • SAP experience
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel (pivot, charts, formulas)
  • Ability to handle complex issues under tight deadlines
  • Ability to quickly learn new processes
  • Strong attention to detail, communication and time-management skills
  • Upper Intermediate level of English both verbal and written

Nice to have:

  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Knowledge of IFRS in related topics
