«Save the Children International» — гуманітарна організація з понад 100-річною історією. Save the Children була заснована у травні 1919 року в Лондоні.

SCI працює в Україні з 2014. Починала свою роботу на території Донецької області. В теперішній час SCI розширює свою діяльність на вісім міст України, і Миколаїв є одним із них. 

Ми працюємо в напрямках освіти, захисту дітей, подолання дитячої бідності, охорони здоров’я, а також проводимо адвокаційну діяльність, пов’язану із захистом прав дітей.

Основні обов’язки:

• Управитель з питань освіти несе загальну відповідальність за нагляд за реалізацією проектів у сфері дошкільної освіти, початкової, середньої та старшої школи, що впроваджуються Південним регіональним офісом в Україні.
• Безпосереднього управляє грантами в Південному регіональному офісі, та бере участь у плануванні програм, нагляді за їх реалізацією, підборі персоналу та здійсненні закупівель.  
• Ключова роль полягає у співпраці з Координатором з питань освіти та освітніми командами, розташованими в Південному регіональному офісі, розбудові їхнього потенціалу в управлінні проектами. 
• Підтримуватиме партнерів у виконанні якісних проєктів, включаючи:

- своєчасну реалізацію заходів відповідно до плану та регулярний моніторинг за узгодженими показниками,

- високоякісні проміжні та підсумкові звіти для зовнішнього та внутрішнього використання,

- суворий бюджетний нагляд: щомісячне прогнозування та витрачання коштів відповідно до плану, щоквартальні перегляди, за необхідності, та бюджетна (витратна) звітність.

• Забезпечує належне та ефективне використання ресурсів програми, гарантуючи, що всі ресурси / активи в проєкті управляються відповідно до політик SCI та вимог донорів.
• Готує своєчасні та якісні програмні і донорські звіті про діяльність за проектами відповідно до внутрішніх вимог SCI та будь-яких відповідних зовнішніх вимог донорів. 

Щоб бути успішним, Вам необхідно  мати:

• Вища освіта у відповідній галузі: Освіта, Соціальні науки, або ступінь бакалавра з еквівалентним досвідом роботи на місцях.
• Розуміння освітніх програм, особливо в умовах надзвичайних ситуацій.
• Щонайменше 4 роки досвіду управління проектами в надзвичайних ситуаціях, в зоні конфлікту, або програмах розвитку, пов'язаних з початковою, середньою та/або дошкільною освітою.
• Підтверджена здатність контролювати та навчати персонал і партнерів в управлінні програмами.
• Досвід та готовність працювати через системи участі та підзвітності громади.
• Конкретний досвід управління проектами ECW, Lego та іншими великими донорськими проектами та розуміння вимог донорів.
• Вільне володіння усною та письмовою англійською та українською мовами. 
• Зрілість та досвід ефективної побудови відносин з ключовими партнерами з числа НУО та уряду.
• Досвід виявлення проблем та розробки відповідних рішень.
• Сильні навички побудови відносин, ведення переговорів та міжособистісного спілкування. 
• Прихильність до цінностей «Save the Children» та захисту дітей.

SCI has been working in Ukraine since 2014. The Organization started its work in the territory of the Donetsk region. Currently, SCI is expanding its activities to eight cities of Ukraine, and Mykolaiv is one of them.

We work in the directions of education, child protection, overcoming child poverty, health care, and also we have advocacy activities related to the protection of children's rights.

ROLE PURPOSE:

Education Programme Manager will have overall responsibility for overseeing the implementation of early childhood education, lower, middle, and high school education projects implemented out of the South Area Office in Ukraine. In addition to directly managing grants in the South Area Office, the Program Manager will be expected to have input into program planning, oversight of program implementation, recruitment, and procurement.  A key role is to work with the Education Coordinator and Education teams located in the South Area Office, building their capacity in project management. The Program Manager will also support partners to deliver quality projects, including (1) timely activity implementation according to plan and routine monitoring against agreed indicators, (2) high quality progress and final reports for external and internal use and (3) strong budget oversight: monthly forecasting and spending according to plan; quarterly revisions, as needed; and budget (spending) reporting.

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY: 

Program Management: 

• Overall responsible for the timely implementation of education project activities ensuring that services are delivered on time, on budget and in compliance with donor regulations.
• Ensure the education program is implemented in ways responsive to communities, partners and children in line with SC’s principles, values and strategic plan and compliant with SC’s procedures.
• Ensure award/grant kick off and management tools, including implementation plans, MEAL plans, procurement plans and distribution schedules of program inputs in line with program logistics/supply chain capacity are in place, tracked and updated regularly. 
• Ensure that partner staff have work-plans in place and follow up with team members regularly to ensure that activities are on track.
• Manage program budget, including phased budgets, monthly budget forecasting and quarterly budget revisions for all grants. 
• Ensure proper and effective use of program resources, ensuring that all resources/assets in project are managed in line with SC and Donor policy.
• Monitor program progress against both programmatic and budgetary targets, and collaborate with the Technical Advisors/Specialists to make adjustments to program design as necessary. 
• Prepare timely and high-quality program and donor reports on project activities in compliance with internal SC requirements and any relevant external donor requirements. 
• Responsible for liaising with Operations/Field Management and Security on the movement planning of team and any necessary security assessments or reassessments of operational areas. 
• Close coordination with WASH and Child Protection teams on cross cutting needs and issues. 

TO BE SUCCESSFUL, YOU NEED TO HAVE: 

• Advanced Degree in relevant subject: Education, Social Sciences, Development Studies  or a Bachelor’s degree with equivalent field experience.
• Understanding of education programming, particularly in emergency settings.
•  At least 4 years of project management experience in emergency, fragile state or development programmes related to primary, secondary and/or early childhood education.
• Proven capacity to supervise, and coach staff and partners in program management.
• Experience of, and commitment to, working through systems of community participation and accountability.
• Specific experience of managing ECW, Lego  and other major donor projects and understanding of donor compliance.
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Ukrainian. 
• The maturity and experience to effectively building relationships with key NGO and government partners.
• Experience to identify problems and develop appropriate solutions.
• Strong relationship building, negotiation and interpersonal skills.              WE OFFER:
