The international non-profit organization Management Sciences for Health (MSH) implementing in Ukraine the USAID-supported Safe, Affordable and Effective Medicines for Ukrainians Activity (SAFEMed), is looking for Consultant for the development of the last mile concept for the centrally procured medicines.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing written recommendations, including approximate calculations, on development of the model on establishment of regional logistics hubs, using available regional capabilities: regional Bases of Special Medical Supplies and supercluster hospital warehouses, based on the results of completed assessment of their capacities.
- Providing written recommendations on development of the model on logistics service outsourcing, including approximate calculations.
- Providing expert advice during last-mile strategy development to the project team, including participation in strategy development working groups.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor's or Master`s degree in Public Health, Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Management, Medical Management or equivalent education.
REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
Preferred:
- Experience in public health programs or related to public health system reform.
- Experience in public health management with an emphasis on supply chain in public health or/and in medical procurements.
- Experience in providing technical assistance in public health programs/projects, especially in supply chain or/and in medical procurements.
- Experience working in Ukraine with MOH, MPU and similar level organizations in the field of healthcare and governance.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, technical writing, training experience, ability to identify and resolve policy and operational constraints, generate ideas and solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English / Ukrainian.
- Demonstrated intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
