Purchaser (direct procurement)

An international company that manufactures veterinary medicines is looking for a specialist for the position of Purchaser (direct procurement).

Candidate profile: 

• 1-3 years experience as purchaser or buyer (veterinary medicine or pharmacy - preferred).
• Full-time availability.
• Service orientated.
• Fluent English written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for purchasing at competitive conditions.
• Maintaining contacts with existing customers.
• Selecting new suppliers, both nationally and internationally.
• Determining purchasing agreements and contract management.
• Improving your portfolio based on results, data and market developments.
• Ordering 3 to 4 purchase orders per week.
• Мonitoring the process and progress.
• Ensuring correct (administrative) processing.
• Coordinating with colleagues from, among others, planning and sales in the Netherlands and Estonia
• Jointly formulating procurement vision, policy, and goals.

The company offers a direct contract with a central office in Europe. The work involves a remote format (home office), you will be reporting to theManager who is based in Europe.
