At this point, Zelh is looking for a
Container Freight Station (CFS) Operations Agent for our third-party logistics company.
The client is seeking a self-motivated individual who can work in a fast-paced environment and is able to multitask. This individual will be part of an experienced team and will be a key individual in providing successful solutions to our customers in a collaborative manner. Will provide support to internal and external customers’ needs with a proactive and professional approach. Coordinate and Execute recovery and delivery schedules with various parties to ensure freight is moved according to its requirements and on time.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Excellent, Professional and Timely Customer Service whether handling customer inquiries, complaints, quotes, or support in order maintenance processes.
- Order Processing and Manifest Execution.
- Notify customers and company stations of Freight Availability, Capacity, Status, Cost and Other Important Information.
- Will need to maintain knowledge of company services to assist with customer inquiries and book orders.
- Work and Coordinate Effectively with Customer Service Team to ensure all shipment requirements are understood.
- Work and Coordinate Effectively with Dispatch Team and other parties, such as agents to ensure freight requirements are executed and on time.
- Work and Coordinate Effectively with Bond Team to process and maintain US Customs Bond Compliance.
- Coordinate with Customers, Forwarders and Shipping Lines to request and process timely freight releases and confirm any pending charges.
- Obtain pieces, weights, dimensions internally or externally, and translating that information to our transportation platform.
- Ensure all backup paperwork/ documentation, reference numbers and requirements are attached appropriately.
- Read and interpret various forms of documentation, safety rules, tariffs, BOLs, MSDS, Inbond Arrivals, etc.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Job requirements:
- Strong understanding of all MS Office Programs, freight operating systems such as AS400, Alpha Truck, TMW, Freight Data, US Customs ACE Platform etc.
- Advanced level of English
- Strong verbal, written communication and phone skills.
- Relevant experience can include cartage, transportation, moving companies, customer service, logistics, linehaul, intermodal, warehouse, ground operations, and dispatching air and ocean service.
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Type 30+ WPM preferred.
