Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated Logistics Operations Specialist with experience in dispatch, track & trace, and back-office support roles within the transportation industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with brokerage systems such as McLeod TMS, Samsara, Loaddex, DAT, and Parade, as well as proficiency in managing transportation through platforms like MercuryGate and utilizing tracking solutions like Fourkites and Project44.

Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize brokerage systems to quote, dispatch, and track shipments effectively.
- Provide after-hours support and handle track & trace operations to ensure timely delivery.
- Assist in load building and optimization when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and shippers to address inquiries and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate managed transportation services.
- Flexibility to transition between managed transportation and brokerage tasks as required.

Job requirements
Qualifications:
- 1-2+ years of experience in logistics operations, dispatch, track & trace, or similar roles.
- Proficiency in brokerage systems such as McLeod TMS, Samsara, Loaddex, DAT, and Parade.
- Experience with transportation management systems like MercuryGate.
- Familiarity with tracking solutions like Fourkites and Project44.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to dynamic situations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
