About the company:
We are a fulfilment company with 2 offices and more than 100 employees, operating in Africa for over 4 years. Our focus has been on providing exceptional delivery services to mid-size e-commerce businesses in the region. Our objective is to establish a robust delivery network that can efficiently handle the transportation of packages through couriers and pick-up points across Africa. Our dedicated team of professionals is committed to delivering excellence in every aspect of our operations, from logistics planning to last-mile delivery.
Currently, we are working with direct retailers of small-size products in developing markets in Africa. We are present in Kenya, Uganda, and South Africa (coming soon). Our goal is to deliver different product categories and develop a delivery solution suitable for the African market.
Responsibilities:
- Implementation of the full cycle of financial management, including planning, analysis, control, and reporting;
- Working with an international team to fulfil financial tasks and achieve the company’s strategic goals;
- Developing, executing, and monitoring the company’s budgets to align with its strategic needs and goals;
- Preparation of financial statements by International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and internal company standards;
- Monitoring and compliance with tax requirements, including tax reporting, declarations, and interaction with tax authorities.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Auditing, or a related field;
- 1–2 years of experience in the field of finance is required;
- High level of analytical skills and ability to make strategic financial decisions;
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with an international team;
- Advanced skills in Excel (fast and efficient work with basic formulas);
- Experience with QuickBooks would be a plus;
- English: Upper-Intermediate;
- Responsible and result-oriented.
