Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain Financial Records:
    • Manage day-to-day financial transactions for residential or commercial properties, including recording income and expenses accurately.
  2. Tenant Financial Interactions:
    • Handle tenant financial interactions, including rent collection, late fees, and security deposits, ensuring adherence to lease agreements and regulations.
  3. Budget Management:
    • Develop and manage property budgets, tracking expenses and income to ensure financial stability and profitability.
  4. Vendor and Contractor Payments:
    • Process payments to vendors and contractors for property maintenance and repairs, verifying invoices and maintaining accurate records.
  5. Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, for property owners and management.
  6. Compliance Monitoring:
    • Ensure compliance with local regulations and best practices regarding financial management and reporting for property management.
  7. Software Proficiency:
    • Utilize property management software and MS Office applications proficiently to maintain financial records, generate reports, and communicate effectively.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience in Bookkeeping:
    • Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping, preferably in property management or real estate, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
  2. Communication and Organization:
    • Strong communication skills and organizational abilities to effectively manage financial records, interact with tenants, and collaborate with property management teams.
  3. Software Proficiency:
    • Proficiency in property management software and MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, to efficiently manage financial data and generate reports.
  4. Regulatory Knowledge:
    • Knowledge of local regulations and best practices related to property management finances, including rent collection, security deposits, and financial reporting requirements.
  5. Independence and Collaboration:
    • Ability to work independently to manage financial tasks efficiently, while also collaborating with property management teams and external stakeholders as needed.
  6. Availability:
    • Flexibility to work from 4 PM to 12 AM Kyiv time, ensuring coverage during peak property management hours.
  7. English Proficiency:
    • Intermediate level of English proficiency is mandatory, facilitating effective communication with English-speaking stakeholders and colleagues.
