Legal Counsel

We are looking for an active and thoughtful professional who will join our finance and legal team in a role of Corporate Counsel (Legal Counsel). You will work with the Tax & Structuring Manager directly and contribute to the development of our Corporate function of the SKELAR finance and legal team and perform a wide variety of related activities.
The main functions for this role include:
— Manage day-to-day corporate document flow for legal entities in multiple foreign jurisdictions (Cyprus, Gibraltar, USA, Estonia, Poland, etc.);
— Lead communication with corporate administrators in multiple foreign jurisdictions;
— Support day-to-day operations of multiple teams via provision of corporate documents
— Contribute to the banking and payment services providers infrastructure via documentary support and KYC execution;
— Assisting with compliance matters in multiple foreign jurisdictions;
— Prepare drafts of documents and agreements for intragroup financing arrangements;
— Maintain and update various internal databases on corporate information, documents, and agreements;
— Handle legal support of administrative activities (e.g., filings, offices, corporate matters);
— Perform ad-hoc corporate requests, as needed.
Skills and experience needed to join the board:
— 1+ years of professional experience in a legal or corporate secretary position in a major company, reputable accounting/audit/law firm, or compliance position in an international bank/payment institution. Experience in tech/IT industry would be an asset;
— Corporate law knowledge: a solid grasp of the basics of corporate law and corporate governance and holistic understanding of corporate matters’ flow;
— Ability to draft and review standard corporate documents;
— Ability to focus on details to ensure and maintain data accuracy and consistency;
— Structured thinking and excellent organizational skills;
— Strong communication and written skills;
— Practical and result-oriented approach;
— Upper-intermediate level of written and oral English is a must;
— Proficiency in MS Office / Google tools.
