JDI Integrations is a US based Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) that specialized in supplying US government organizations with physical security solutions, expeditionary site solutions, storage optimization solutions, communication solutions, and general contracting services. The company is committed to providing customers with seamless end-to-end services that include end-user training, product warranties, and technical support services. 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The procurement specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient sourcing and acquisition  of goods and services to meet the end user’s needs. The procurement Specialist will be responsible for vendor management, negotiation and supply chain logistics. 


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Procurement Planning:

  • Develop comprehensive procurement plans in alignment with government regulations and project objectives.

  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess market conditions.

  • Collaborate with project managers to determine procurement needs and timelines.

  • Solicitation and Contracting:

  • Prepare solicitation documents, including requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for quotes (RFQs), and invitations to bid (ITBs).

  • Manage the procurement process from solicitation to contract award, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Evaluate bids and proposals, negotiate contracts, and award contracts to qualified suppliers.

  • Contract Management:

  • Monitor contract performance and compliance throughout the contract lifecycle.

  • Facilitate communications between government agencies and contractors to address issues and resolve disputes.

  • Track contract deliverables, milestones, and expenditures to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.

  • Supplier Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with suppliers to foster collaboration and maximize value.

  • Conduct supplier performance evaluations and provide feedback to suppliers as necessary.

  • Identify opportunities for supplier diversification and strategic partnerships to enhance procurement outcomes.

  • Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and government policies in all procurement activities.

  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for audit purposes.

  • Prepare reports and presentations on procurement activities, performance metrics, and compliance status for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains within the procurement function.

  • Implement best practices and innovative strategies to optimize procurement operations and achieve cost savings.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes affecting government contracting and procurement practices.

  • Advanced English and German (preferred)
