Senior DB Software Engineer

Our client is one of the biggest companies in the world in the field of supply chain and procurement. They provide highly efficient procurement services for the leading technological and manufacturing companies. The core that enables their services is highly intelligent ecosystem connected platform, with advanced analytics, able to identify new opportunities and strategies never possible before. The system is designed to arm procurement specialists with unparalleled visibility into real-time market intelligence and supply trends. The platform represents a new generation of procurement intelligence that provides fast, high quality decision support and planning.

The core engineering team consists of 5 members and combines expertise in front end, back end, clouds and data bases. Our goal is to help our client to optimize the overall procurement process through migration of the whole procurement platform to AWS cloud. To enable such extensive migration one of the main challenges to solve is to migrate all data to Amazon RDS and create a powerful and performance effective data warehouse that will be used by the entire procurement intelligence platform. We are looking for an experienced database engineer who is ready to dig deep into Amazon RDS and leverage Amazon capabilities to achieve effective performance of the procurement platform.

YOU ARE

• Senior database engineer with at least 5 years' experience in an enterprise level organization
• Having strong expertise with SQL Server and writing performance effective SQL queries
• Having hands on experience with AWS Aurora
• Experienced with NoSQL and Dynamo DB
• Familiar with strategies and steps of database migration to cloud
• Understanding the system development in cloud environment
