Senior C++ developer

One of the world's largest providers of products and services to the energy industry has a need to develop and support enterprise information systems in Oil & Gas domain.

Our product is a windows standalone application that is building two-dimensional images of a borehole wall and the rocks that make it up.
The primary (but not limited to) use of the Product and its supported tools is the recognition of bedding plane dips for identification of irregular features – vugs and fractures, for accurate sand counts in thin-bedded zones.

Our Product is utilised for a full range of E&P cycles from exploration through appraisal, development, and production to abandonment of the borehole.

The Customer is started its migration to Azure Cloud. The project is already ongoing. New positions are opened to fulfil the capacity for the Migration part of the scope.
Current team: 12 Engineers in Ukraine + 3 Engineers in the USA.

Responsibilities

1. Design and implementation of new features
2. Update/maintenance of existing code base
3. Design and development of software in C++
4. Daily professional communication with customers.
5. Requirements elicitation or clarification if needed
