Project Description

Our Client is a US multinational investment bank and financial services corporation. We're currently forming a new team to support the modernization of two client's strategic platforms. Both platforms are trading systems: one supports ETFs globally for Hong Kong, New York, and London markets while the second platform processes around 10% of the entire US equity options business. You will join the Luxoft development team distributed between St Petersburg, New York and London and partner with other client teams spread globally. You will be involved in the development of server-side components of a high-frequency Market Making & Index Arbitrage platform

Responsibilities

• • Analyze requirements, design, implement and test the changes;
  • Participate in software releases and help with L3 support;
  • Provide input into continuous improvements of the application;

Skills

Must have

• 2+ years of KDB experience;
  3+ years of relational database experience (like Oracle/ Sybase) working with C++/Java developers

Nice to have

• Has worked on projects which have changing demands potentially affecting KDB data structure;
  Fluent with the interactions between KDB and C++ or Java using multiple types of API;
  Can tune and provide suggestions on how to improve current API to KDB;
  Experience in InfluxDB or any time series database would be a plus;
