Storage Administrator

Требования: 

The candidate should have a sound knowledge, supported by relevant experience; of the design, support, and operation, of the following storage technologies:

• Network Attached Storage (NAS) - This must include a subset of: EMC Isilon, EMC VNX (file), EMC Unity (file)
• Essential: Storage Area Networks (SAN) - This must include a subset of: EMC XtremIO, EMC Unity, EMC VNX, Cisco MDS Switches
• Essential: Unix (Shell/Bash), Windows Server 2012 -2019 (PowerShell will be benefit)
• Content Addressed Storage (CAS) & Private Cloud - This can include: EMC Centera, EMC ECS
• Data Backup - This can include: EMC Networker, EMC Data Domain (with ECS cloudtier)
• Experience with Schedulers (Autosys,Control-m etc) will be benefit

Обязанности: 

Provide BAU Storage Administrator duties:

• Responsible for providing subject matter expertise on data backup and recovery to all regions
• Responsible for managing and optimising the enterprise storage infrastructure
• Responsible for ensuring all systems are highly available, reliable and performant
• Responsible for ensuring all systems are patched to the appropriate levels
• Responsible for ensuring sufficient capacity is available to accommodate expected BAU growth
• Responsible for maintaining the backup infrastructure for all systems and servers and perform restores as required
• Responsible for ensuring appropriate monitoring is configured and working correctly
• Responsible for providing appropriate levels of business support to end users and projects
• Responsible for automating, simplifying and standardising procedures and systems to reduce cost and improve efficiency
• Responsible for ensuring documentation and inventory systems are complete and accurate
• Responsible for providing storage services as required
• Required to carry out the responsibilities of the role in accordance with company policy/procedures and as directed by line management

Our team primary location is Kiev, working remotely in client environment in close collaboration with customer management, IT OPS and Development teams.
