Senior Java Developer (with a strong background in Fin tech)

Project Description:

We're urgently looking for a Java/Quantitative Developer with a strong background in Fin tech, with mathematics background, or computational physics - the one who is familiar with how to price complex financial instruments, who has practical experience with regression, interpolation, curve fitting, etc. Finance and risk calculations, derivative pricing, volatility, etc.

Responsibilities:

•  Develop and implement quantitative software applications to process and analyze financial market data.
•  Maintain and optimize existing software applications, and recommend and implement improvements. 
•  Regular communication with management and technical colleagues. 
•  Processing, collecting and analyzing financial market data.
•  Monitor and improve the quality of analytical data generated from our applications.

Mandatory Skills:

•  Core Java, JEE, Hibernate, Spring and Unix.
•  REST, SOAP, messaging systems.
•  Knowledge of Relational databases, NoSQL is a plus! 
•  Agile/DevOps experience - Analytical / Quantitative.
•  Proven communication skills (in person, phone, and email) in a complex geographically distributed environment. 
•  Ability to multi-task and work against deadlines/priorities.
•  A sense of ownership and desire to take on an expanded role over time.
