Swiss travel retail company is starting business in Ukraine and looking for experienced, ambitious, professional finance manager/ chief accountant

Job responsibilities:

• Organisation of the accounting and financial procedures in line with HQ guidelines and local legislation,
• Responsible for compliance of accounting paperwork, manage accounting procedures;
• Supervision of Ukranian statutory accounting, management accounting and controlling, corporate finance, tax and auditing;
• Analyse and supervise finance processes, review and challenge financial controls to manage risks within the business;
• Ensure compliance of management reporting, maintaining financial information systems with that purpose, generate the monthly data for HQ reporting in accordance with IFRS as well as to prepare the required financial information in accordance with statutory requirements of Ukraine;
• In charge of the corresponding periodical audits to the financial statements, both for HQ and local purposes;
• Ensure the timely submission of actual data and forecast / budgets, providing analysis and comments to deviations from actual to budget;
• Ensure that all transactions are registered in the period in which they occurred, and are properly documented, in accordance with local legal requirements and HQ practices;
• Inventory and audit of the assets;
• Support the General Manager in financial analysis and measures to improve the performance, or solve reporting problems of the legal entity;
• Ensure tax compliance of the company, including filing and settlement tax returns;
• Is responsible for cash management, and preparation of cash flow projections;
• Bank accounts management (transactions accounting) and responsible for ensuring an appropriate controls exist around accounting records and payments.

Job requirements:

• Degree in economy, 5 years of financial and accounting work experience with at least 3 years experience in a management role,
• Good command of local statutory requirements of Ukraine, IFRS is a plus,
• Languages - Ukranian, English, Russian is a plus,
• Work experience in global multinational company is a plus.
