Functional / System analyst

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in the role of business/functional/system analyst in tech company;
• Technical background in web development much appreciated;
• Experience in technical and customer support is desirable;
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile principles;
• Requirements analysis and specification;
• Visual modelling (prototyping, UML, business processes, data flows, ERD, UI);
• Hands-on experience with APIs (SOAP XML, REST JSON/XML, XSD, WSDL);
• Advanced in Jira, Confluence, Word, Excel, Visio, SOAP UI, Postman;
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in the international environment;
• Ability to handle multiple projects in parallel;
• Degree in the Computer Science/Applied Systems Analysis/Cybernetics;
• English: Upper-Intermediate.

Responsibilities:

• Integration of new partners into Amadeus Cars ecosystem;
• Regular communication with internal and external business stakeholders (alignment, prioritization, progress tracking);
• Close collaboration with internal and external DEV/QA teams (planning, task management, bug tracking, change management);
• Creating functional specifications (incl. flow diagrams, data mappings, examples);
• Preparing UAT scenarios, end to end validation;
• Partner settings configuration within Administration tools;
• Creating documentation (user guides, technical guides, release notes);
• Conducting demo sessions, workshops, trainings;
• Customer support (incl. incident management).

Project:

The Amadeus Cars & Transfers products and solutions are an integral part of the overall portfolio of Amadeus products and solutions.

To further enhance the Cars offering, we are seeking highly motivated and creative professionals to design and development a new industry leading booking engine and to integrate a new white-label solution (HTML). The initial focus will be to deliver a B2C version for airlines (such as SAS) and online travel agencies. Considering the high profile of the targeted customers, the inclusion of the latest search and booking features, user-friendliness of the solution and the usability on mobile devices will be key to success. With future phases, the scope will expand to B2B and the integration of new content from car rental brokers / aggregators. The team will work in close co-operation with the commercial and product management teams of the Cars & Transfers Business Unit, the design agency who will develop the HTML, the development teams in Nice and customers adopting the new solution.
