Actuarial business analyst

Deloitte is seeking an Actuarial business analyst to join the Financial Risks group within the Risk Advisory Department at the Kyiv office.

Deloitte's Risk Advisory Department is a leading provider of internal control, internal audit and risk management in the CIS, with over 300 dedicated professionals across 14 offices, serving clients in the CIS and abroad.

As part of this team, you will work with high-profile clients, including owner-managed businesses, multinationals and public companies in a variety of industry sectors. You will have the opportunity and support to take on responsibility early on, making a real contribution from day one.

The role will involve:

• Risk and capital modeling/optimization;
• Valuation of liabilities under IFRS and Solvency II;
• Acting as the actuarial function for insurance companies.

Requirements:

• High education in Natural Sciences (Maths, Statistics, Informatics, Economics, Physics, Engineering) or Further Actuarial Education: the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA);
• Familiarity with life and non-life insurance reserve calculation requirements and mechanics;
• Work experience 1+ year on relevant positions;
• Confident in Excel, VBA;
• Python, R, Prophet or any other programming language is a plus;
• English level - Upper-Intermediate and above;
• Strong analytical skills;
• Responsible, team-player, ready for business trips.
