Senior DevOps Engineer (Web and Mobile)

We are looking for a motivated person, who will be excited to work on different types of projects, grow, and develop DevOps competency across the company as well as share the experience with interns and Junior specialists.

Responsibilities: 

• Architect, build and deploy infrastructure security solutions, including standards for hosts, firewalls, and load balancers, and controls for logical segmentation, visibility, and monitoring of the cloud environment
• Participate in the entire development lifecycle, from requirements to deployment
• Provide recommendations for new technologies and procedures to improve service availability and management
• Deliver an exceptional experience to our clients in every interaction. Be an expert in uptime, service reliability, and sustainability
• Be an advocate and champion of cloud-native principles, technologies, and tooling
• Troubleshoot production system and network issues related to performance and functionality
• Help to develop the processes in terms of DevOps competency across the company
• Be a mentor and share experience with Juniors/interns
• Get things done

Requirements: 

• 3+ years of working experience with Linux systems (strong user with deep understanding of Linux systems)
• Strong/deep understanding of network model, network segregation, routing, firewalls
• Proficient with automation scripting skills like Bash, Python
• 3+ years of working experience with Cloud providers like AWS, DO, GCE. Strong user with deep understanding of cloud provider components like VPC, IAM, EC2, RDS etc.
• 2+ years experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, CircleCI, etc. Familiar with pipelines. Deep understanding of CI/CD. Familiar with Continuous Deployment
• Experience and deep understanding of Docker/docker-compose concepts and usage
• 2+ years experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet etc. Successful experience in commercial projects
• 2+ years experience with provisioning tools like Terraform, CloudFormation. Successful experience in commercial projects
• 2+ years experience with logging and monitoring technologies such as Prometheus, NewRelic, ELK stack, DataDog etc.
• Proficient with web and app technology/servers (Apache, Nginx)
• Familiar with CDN configuration and caching (CloudFront, CloudFlare, Fastly etc.)
• Hands-on experience with PHP/JS/Java application deployment procedures
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL databases, no-SQL databases - Redis, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra (candidate should know more than just how to install them)
• Experience with cluster management systems. Familiar with Kubernetes
• Familiar with deployment strategies like Green/Blue, Canary etc.
