System Administrator / Infrastructure Security Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Monitor external attacks and intrusions
• Close off security vulnerability in the case of an attack
• Search for security updates and recommend fixes. Participate in updating if needed
• Implement and monitor security standards and best practices for the organization
• Respond immediately to security incidents and provide post-incident analysis
• Collaborate within company about security issues

Requirements:

• Operating systems knowledge and administration skills: Windows, Linux (RedHat/Debian), FreeBSD. Understanding OS and software security principles
• Skills and understanding of Active Directory security features
• Knowledge of the principles of construction, networks operation and protection, experience with network equipment (Cisco, Juniper)
• Understanding of the basics of information security. Knowledge and understanding of attack techniques, actual threats, ways and means of protection against them.
• Working experience with enterprise-level antivirus systems (policies, configurations)
• Experience in using vulnerability scanners/vulnerability management systems (Nessus)
• Experience in building and working with Log Management systems
• Working experience with IDS systems
• Programming skills for automating routine tasks (PowerShell, sh, Python) will be a plus
• At least Pre-Intermediate level of English
