Full Stack Java Developer/Java Developer

Unicorn Systems is a renowned European company providing the largest information systems and solutions in the area of information and communication technologies. We have been focused on high added value and competitive advantage for our customers.

Now we are looking for a Full Stack Java Developer with experience in Java and JS (NodeJS).
Or we may also consider Java Developers who have a desire to learn JS.
We are considering strong junior and middle level developers.

A few examples of the products the teams are working with currently:
• Products providing management of business environment of an organization;
• Products that support process of collection and work with Business Requests, Business Model of Business Discipline, technical specification
• Products for balancing the energy supply for various power stations;
• Product calculating energy power distribution through transmitting stations and uniting energy networks.

Required Skills:
• Knowledge of Object-oriented programming (OOP), Design Patterns and SOLID, TDD/BDD and Distributed systems architecture (microservices, event driven, cloud native, serverless);
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git;
• Experience in Docker will be a plus;
• Knowledge in JavaScript ECMAScript 6 and higher;
• Experience in NodeJS, Express;
• Experience in Java, commercial REST web-services implementation with Spring Framework;
• Knowledge in MongoDB;
• Knowledge in testing with Jest;
• English — strong intermediate or higher, daily usage.

Responsibilities:
• Implementation of a new functionality according to the requirements;
• Active participation in creating descriptions of a new functionality.
