Middle Front End Developer (React)

Unicorn Systems is a renowned European company providing the largest information systems and solutions in the area of information and communication technologies. We have been focused on high added value and competitive advantage for our customers.

Now we are looking for a member of an in-house development team in Oriflame. Team is responsible for development, maintenance, customizations and integrations to public Oriflame multi language sites and internal sales system (personal cabinet), running on .NET based application server.

Key responsibilities:

• Writes quality code (React, TypeScript, JS, HTML, CSS) using modern best practices;
• Partner with in-house design team to implement, negotiate and customize design requirements for enhanced end-user experience;
• Improve the user-experience by applying best practices and industry trends currently in the marketplace;
• Development of new web site features according to the sketches;
• Troubleshoots CSS and JS, TypeScript issues on existing pages;
• Rewrite existing legacy JS code to new modules;
• Collaborate with business unit liaisons to understand and develop business and functional requirements;
• Demonstrate application features.

Technical skills - must have:

• Commercial experience with web development;
• Knowledge of modern best practices for developing web application;
• Experience with mobile-first approach;
• Experience in HTML5 cross-browser development & responsive web design;
• Strong CSS3 experience;
• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript core, ES6;
• Understanding of OOP principles in JavaScript;
• Experience with Typescript;
• Experience with jQuery, AJAX, JSON;
• Experience with any JavaScript framework (preferable - Kendo UI, React);
• Experience of any of the server-side templates (Razor for ASP.NET is a plus);
• English - Upper-intermediate, daily usage preferable.

Technical skills - desirable:

• Knowledge of Agile and iterative methodologies (SCRUM);
• Knowledge of software UI design principles.
