Computational Linguist

We are currently growing rapidly, delivering conversational self-service projects across 10 countries. We are seeking people with studies in Computational Linguistics and/or Natural Language Processing to join our world-class R&D team in Kyiv.

Successful candidates will possess ambition, enthusiasm and proven creativity, aptitude for analytical and creative thinking, with sharp attention to detail. They should be self-motivated; taking goal-oriented initiatives; well organised for both team and/ or solo assignments; keen to nurture and lead a small team of associates; accountable within demanding deadlines.

Omilia is the fastest-growing NLU Conversational Self-Service technology providers in the world. In Ukraine, you can find our technology in AlfaBank, OTPBank, NovaPoshta and others. Our company already operates an Advanced Conversational Linguistics lab, that has already modelled 7 languages that are now part of our ASR engine (including Greek, Ukrainian, Spanish, Russian, US English, Polish, a.o.)

Requirements

Mandatory qualifications:

• Able to work in Kyiv Omilia Office
• At least a Bachelor's Degree in Computational Linguistics, Natural Language Processing or similar
• At least Junior Level Programming skills in any language / Scripting (JAVA preferred)
• Excellent command of spoken and written English as well as one of the following languages: Uzbek, Kyrgyz, Azerbaijani, Bulgarian, Romanian, Hebrew, German, Serbian, Portuguese, Kazakh.
• Team player
• Excellent communication skills

Will be a plus - experience with:

• Speech Recognition Systems
• Spoken Dialogue Systems
