GlobalLogic is inviting an experienced Java Team Lead to join our engineering team.
A compliance and social security solution which integrates with social and collaboration networks to collect, archive, analyze, and take action on any posts that bear the potential risk to the organization. Another part of the solution allows to search for and identify fake or fraudulent accounts in social networks, identifies suspicious or bot activity against a monitoring account, and gives the ability to take action on the identified threat (block, request take-down, etc.).
This is a Web solution that includes sites, web services, cloud storage, and mobile applications and integrates several third-party solutions.

- In this role you will be responsible for acting as the primary liaison for the team to the management level, establishing and ensuring adherence to our programming and development lifecycle processes, acting as an internal technical consultant for the development of custom solutions, and overseeing technical deployments of custom programs and architectures while leading and mentoring a team.
- The role requires a strong technical leader, comfortable guiding the development team (5-7 people).
- The ideal candidate for this position is a “hands-on” leader, self-starter, customer-focused, detail-oriented, well-spoken, eager to learn different technologies, comfortable working with highly technical teams, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
Leading and collaborating with a team, architecting and implementing high-quality solutions driven by the product owner’s use cases.
Writing well-designed, testable, efficient code as a contributing member of the team according to best practices and modern solutions.
Influencing and mentoring more junior developers to continuously improve the tools, skills, and processes of the team.
Contributing to the architecture of projects and collaborating closely with the Architect on the client side.
Taking ownership and responsibility for the delivery and quality of code your team produces.
Working under minimal supervision and acting independently, requiring a high level of judgment and interpretation to determine the best methods and procedures to make progress
