Junior Java Developer (IRC120452)

GlobalLogic Ukraine is inviting a Junior Java Developer to join its Kyiv office.

Our Client is the leading provider of mobile services in the United States with a share of almost 40 percent of wireless subscriptions in the third quarter of 2019, and the largest telecommunications company in the world by most measures.

You will be working on functionality enhancement and development of integration custom modules that connect network inventory management with different internal business systems, automate routine workflows and related business processes.

Applying for this vacancy, you will become a part of a friendly team that is led by management in the US and work with enterprise-grade level technology stack, firm development process, and using Agile (SAFe) development model.

Requirements:

Mandatory:

• 1+ years of development experience in Java (preferably building/maintaining applications in the enterprise segment)
• Good OOP/OOD
• Strong Core Java with EJB Experience and Java webservices
• Practical experience with REST API
• Good Spring concept understanding and practical experience with Spring Boot
• Good written and verbal English skills

Nice to have:

• Unit testing practices with Junit and/or other unit testing framework
• Good knowledge and practical experience of SQL relational database
• Experience with manual builds deployment to application server (JBoss/WildFly, Tomcat etc.)
• Linux experience: basic/regular user
• Experience with ServiceNow – Now Platform, CMDB
• Practical use of Jira, Jira Align
• SAFe Agile development experience

Responsibilities:

• Functionality customization and inventory management solution integration
• Integration applications and modules development
• Write unit tests, support process of quality testing, user acceptance, system integration, and end-to-end testing
• Documenting features as part of the service development backlog activities
• Deploy developed code to the application servers (when required)
• Support continuous analysis and requirement handling
• Improve and support the deployed code and configuration
