Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
• 2+ years of experience with Scala functional programming
• Preferred experience with modern Scala libraries such as Cats and the Typelevel stack
• Experience with Apache Kafka data streaming
• Knowledge of big data platforms such as Apache Spark and Apache Flink
• Expertise in building applications utilizing open source RDBMS/NoSQL databases and cloud warehousing solutions, such as Snowflake
• Leveraging DevOps techniques for CI/CD, test automation, test automation, test driven development utilizing Jenkins, Maven, Terraform, Git, Docker, Kubernetes
• Shows a commitment to quality by implementing suitable software using unit/integration and acceptance testing at the time of feature development
• Owns technical debt in their own software
