GlobalLogic Ukraine is inviting a Junior Technical writer to join its Lviv office.

Inviting Junior Technical writer to join a growing account in the medical devices industry domain. Our client is the global leader company of healthcare solutions, which contributes to human welfare by application of biomedical engineering in the research, design, manufacture, and sale of instruments or appliances that alleviate pain, restore health and extend life for people around the world.

Our team is focusing on automated testing of software for a medical device - continuous glucose monitor subsystem based on Bluetooth low energy. This software has strong restrictions on safety and quality.

According to project-specific needs, we create and continuously update a lot of documents of different types and purposes.

Requirements

Skills required: Fluent/Advance English (written in particular), ability to deal with big amounts of information, attention to detail, ability to get on with quite routine tasks, striving for perfection. The technical background required.

Initial tasks: editing and updating various types of formal documentation for project needs; assisting the development team with the software development documentation and other types of project-related documents. Doing a lot of work with the document in Word using the specific templates and standards 

• Experience in writing and editing technical documentation up to 1year
• Ability to produce and organize content in a logical flow
• Team player
• Fluent/Advanced English (writing, speaking, and listening comprehension)

Responsibilities

• Be part of a team responsible for the quality, discoverability and accuracy of the content, for both internal and external technologies.
• Do hands-on research and obtain necessary technical content from subject matter experts while translating it into clear, concise, structured documentation.
• Create and maintain internal and external documentation for technologies and tools used.
• Work closely with engineering, product, and support teams to ensure the quality, discoverability, and accuracy of the content you create and develop.
• Design, write, and edit technical and process documentation.
