Tech Lead Engineer (IRC92137)

GlobalLogic Ukraine is inviting a Tech Lead Engineer to join its Kyiv office.

We are building a free, ad-supported Video on Demand (VOD) streaming service that, in addition to on-demand options, primarily distributes its content through digital linear channels designed to emulate the experience of traditional broadcast programming.

Responsibilities

• Coaching and helping 2 scrum teams, ensuring agility and excellent deliveries
• Balancing the role of agile-lean leader and execution responsible
• An active player of Scrum of Scrums team focused on impediments removal process
• Driving agile mindset and high-quality standards across teams and organization
• Fostering a learning and improvement culture

Requirements

• Master degree in computer science or relevant experience
• 5+ years experience
• 2+ years as a technical leader of a team 
• Strong understanding advanced concurrent programming topics
• Expert level in either of the following:
     - C++
     - Java
     - C#
     - Scala
     - GoLang
     - Clojure
     - Willing to combine different technologies in order to build fast and reliable software
     - Understanding of distributed data systems
     - CAP theorem
     - Sharding Approaches
     - Database replication strategies
     - Read / Write isolation models
• Understanding of fundamental microservices design patterns
• Conversational English skills and excellent written English communication skills
• Willing to learn new skills
