Trainee Technical Writer (IRC87154)

GlobalLogic Ukraine is inviting a TraineeTechnical Writer to join its Lviv office.

Working with different types of content (text, infographics, video) and with different projects simultaneously: from creating and editing presentations for internal and external events to contributing to technical documentation (e.g., Software Design Description, Architecture Design Description, etc.), from creating video materials to writing and publishing technical white papers.

Requirements

• Fluent English

• Experience in writing, proofreading, and editing

• Experience in creating technical documentation and/or developer outreach for a developer audience

• Ability to produce and organize content with a logical flow

• Experience with authoring tools such as MS Office, XML, HTML, Markdown, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

• Ability to work with visual content (infographics) and video content

• Attention to details

• Ability to cope with routine work

• Team player

Responsibilities

• Be part of a team responsible for quality, discoverability, and accuracy of the content, for both internal and external technologies.

• Do hands-on research and obtain necessary technical content from subject matter experts while translating it into clear, concise, and structured documentation.

• Create and maintain internal and external documentation for technologies and tools used.

• Work closely with engineering, product, and support teams to ensure quality, discoverability and accuracy of the content you create and develop.

• Design, write, and edit technical and process documentation.

• Create visual content (infographics, video content, presentation for internal and external events).

• Navigate through multiple platforms such as Web, iOS and Android.
