GlobalLogic Ukraine is inviting a Senior Windows/Storage Engineer to join its Kyiv office.

Internal IT System Engineer at GlobalLogic is entrusted with keeping internal applications and infrastructure live and performant, local datacenter healthy and operating. We support out customers in troubleshooting and isolating causes of issues, collaborate with both technical and non-technical GlobalLogic employees while building redundant and high availability solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Windows System Administrator in a large enterprise environment
• Large scale Active Directory experience
• VMware vSphere administration
• Understanding of NAS/SAN technology, SAN networking
• Enterprise storages maintenance and support
• System patching including Windows, Enterprise Applications
• Server Maintenance including physical repair, OS troubleshooting and configuration
• Good Scripting skills will be a plus, PowerShell preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills along with good oral and written communication abilities
• Detail oriented, organized, quick learner, self-driven, thorough

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate is a senior-level Windows Server engineer possessing a broad knowledge of various operating systems with emphasis on Windows. He must be accountable for the administration, design, and progression of the physical and virtual servers as well as other infrastructure components in an enterprise environment. Activities also include system monitoring, security, troubleshooting, technical support, and user administration. The candidate must be able to multi-task balancing a workload consisting of baseline support responsibilities and multiple project deliverables. Candidates should be motivated and energetic, take initiative, be detail-oriented, work well in team environments, be an effective communicator, and take extreme pride in their work.
