SAP Retail Master Data specialist (ID:10186)

We are looking for a Consultant/Business Analyst with several years of SAP and Master Data experience to the Master Data team.

Our client is an International Fashion Retail company from Sweden.

As a Retail Master Data Business Analyst (one of the consultants in an internal customer's SAP team) you are going to be responsible for the entire software life cycle: translating business needs into working software via analysis, its design, development, testing, release, and maintenance. 

You will build and configure solutions that are easy to maintain and change, enabling a constant delivery pace to be kept indefinitely. This is achieved through continuous attention to technical excellence and good design, with extensive use of automation.

Areas of Responsibility

• Plan, organize, manage, and control all activities in your assigned projects
• Collaborate with other teams and domains to carry out projects and identify Retail Master Data requirements: mostly SAP MM relevant articles, vendors, PIR, source lists, etc. 
• Participate in requirement meetings with the business to define and document the complete scope and map for a current solution
• Receive business requirements and translate them into Master Data activities
• Provide system analysis and solution expertise within the Master Data area
• Have a holistic view of how the solution adds value and ties into the defined business outcomes
• Use knowledge/experience and problem-solving skills to creatively resolve complex issues and choose the best course of action
• Make sure to deliver solutions on time, and identify and eliminate potential waste (e.g. unnecessary documentation, inefficient methodologies, etc.) 
• Stabilize solutions having in mind Data Quality, for example
• Be part of moving to SAP S/4HANA within the area of Retail Master Data management 

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience of design, concept, principle, and basic configuration in SAP ERP
• Understanding of and work experience from master data in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA with special focus on SAP Retail/MM articles, vendors, PIR, source lists, etc.
• Inbound and outbound integration know-how regarding SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA
• Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively in a cross-team environment where requirements are not always clear
• Experience from large, global organizations
• Good verbal communication and documentation capacity in English
• Well-developed skills of managing deliverables, as well as time management, communication (oral and written) and organizational skills
• Work experience in global SAP projects with Master Data, preferrably in Retail/Wholesale/CPG
• Data/information management
• Good understanding of SAP functionality across modules
• Experience from SAP rollout related activities (creation, batch job creation, cutover, cycle zero, hypercare etc.)
• Ability and willingness to take on new initiatives/technologies

• Experience in moving from SAP ECC into S/4HANA
