QA Engineer with automation experience

Infopulse welcomes talented professionals to join our project as a QA Engineer with automation experience at one of our offices.

Quantum Corp. (NYSE:QTM) is a leading expert in data storage, archiving and protection. Infopulse has been cooperating with Quantum for many years on creation and testing of software for robotized tape libraries and high-performance file systems.

Duties include project analysis, project estimation, test planning, test metrics, reporting, and providing detailed test status. Candidate must be extremely technical with the product to ensure stability and quality across releases. Desirable skills include automated GUI testing, Web Services (REST API) familiarity and use of commercial automated test products. Must be able to cooperate closely with all testers, developers, and sustaining groups. In addition, this will require provision of technical and troubleshooting guidance to others on the team.

Qualifications

• Personal and professional energy and excellence
• Bachelor in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience with manual testing
• Strong skills of Windows and UNIX (Linux, Solaris, AIX, and/or HP-UX)
• Experience in a VMWare environment and virtualization in general
• Intermediate level of English both oral and written
• Must be highly motivated and able to provide services both in a team and on their own

Will be an advantage

• Experience with automated testing (Selenium, Python, PyTest)

Areas of Responsibility

• This position supposes testing of our WebServices and UI features before full integrated system testing (Hyperconvergence Management)
• Develop tests, test scripts or procedures, perform  individual tests, collect and analyze of test data, troubleshoot test failures and compile test reports
• Collaborate closely with web GUI and web services development teams.
