Test Automation Engineer (Python\Perl)

Infopulse welcomes talented professionals to join our project as a Test Automation Engineer.

Quantum Corp. (NYSE:QTM) is a leading expert in data storage, archiving and protection. Infopulse has cooperated with Quantum for many years on creation and testing of software for robotized tape libraries and high-performance file systems.

Currently Infopulse is looking for an engineer to design, develop, and run tests for the StorNext FlexSync product. High-level duties include creating and designing test cases as part of test suites, and executing test suites for release qualifications.

Areas of Responsibility

• Functional and system-level testing on a variety of platforms, setting up system configurations (hardware and software), testing high-availability fail-over systems, and upgrade testing across all supported platforms
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure platform and configuration level control across all system releases
• Cooperate closely with the fellow test engineers and developers to document, diagnose, and correct problems

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or equivalent education in the field
• Experience with automated testing (Python, C, Perl, Unix scripting languages)
• Strong skills with Linux (RHEL and SUSE) and Windows
• Web or Wiki development
• System Administration experience
• Source Code Management (CVS, Subversion, GIT, others)
• SAN, Fiber Channel, SCSI, ISCSI, APIs, Ethernet, Raid, Tape Systems
• Strong technical English written and verbal communication skills.
