Regional Operations Manager

We're looking for a motivated and driven Regional Operations Manager for the Ukrainian market who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have the most direct influence on our success. 

This role will be based in Kiev, Ukraine with an initial onboarding period in Warsaw, Poland (up to 2 months potentially).

Your Tasks - Paint the world green

• You are responsible for the technical and operational preparation of Bus Partners for the launch of their lines in the Ukraine
• You manage assigned lines including ensuring punctuality and additional services
• You ensure the optimization and enhancement of connections in accordance with FlixBus standards
• You train bus drivers in terms of daytime and night service lines for FlixBus
• You provide our Bus Partners with support in all technical and operational matters
• You are responsible for the flawless and timely implementation of various operational projects
• You carry out inspections of vehicles and drivers' work as necessary
• You provide support for solving crisis situations (failures, accidents)
• You provide support to the operational team in other tasks as needed
• You regularly report on your work, results, project statuses while keeping all relevant stakeholders informed, signaling next steps and following up when needed

Your Profile - Ready to hop on board

• Bachelor or higher degree in a relevant field (transport, logistics, civil engineering, economics, management etc.)
• A proven track record of strong results in a similar role in the transport industry is a must
• Fluency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Fluent Ukrainian, good level of English
• Readiness for business trips - approx. 20% of working time
• Accuracy and punctuality in carrying out tasks
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects with strict deadlines 
• Strong drive, self-motivated, accountable
• Ability to make decisions and act autonomously while escalating when necessary
• Certificate of professional competence in passenger transport - nice to have/not essential
• The ability to adequately deal with different stakeholders (business partners, bus drivers, station managers, or regional authorities) with high social and negotiation skills
