IT System Engineer (Network/Windows System Administrator)
ABONA Deutschland GmbH, the system integration and software development company from Bruchsal, Germany, is looking for an IT System Engineer for the technical support team on a full-time basis in a new office in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Duties
Maintain and optimize the installations of own ERP system (logistic sector software)
Support hardware infrastructure for new customers (network, servers in the datacenter)
Solve any problems that can occur during system maintenance (L2 support)
Provide remote technical support and consulting for our customers in Europe.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in system administration, about 5 years of professional practice
Good experience in hands-on system administration (user accounts, permissions, remote desktops) of latest versions of the Microsoft Windows Server
Experience in deploying and managing distributed systems and clusters including performance monitoring, audit, and optimization.
Experience with networking (NAT, DNS, firewalls, routing, load balancing, etc.),
Strong experience to configure modern Cisco hardware (switches - Catalyst, Nexus, routers, firewalls - FirePower)
Familiarity with web and mail protocols (HTTP, TLS, SMTP, etc.), Office365
Experience in virtualization using VMware and Hyper-V
Familiarity with SQL and experience in administration of the MS SQL Server
Intermediate+ English (verbal technical communications with German IT staff), fluent Ukrainian and Russian for internal communications
Nice to have
Ability to plan and estimate the scope of work for infrastructure projects
Experience in deploying and managing Azure DevOps software and any other popular tools for software development and deploy
Knowledge of ITIL for IT Service Management
Cisco or Microsoft certificates
Knowledge of German is a big advantage
We offer
Flexible work schedule and dress code, working hours are 09:00 - 18:00 EST
Casual overtimes are possible with additional compensation
- Three-months probation period
15 working days for vacation plus 2 paid day-offs after the probation period
Business trips to Germany are possible (valid biometric foreign passport is required)
