Head of technical support team

Сommon Duties and Responsibilities

The Head of technical support team will:

• Implement companies systems and policies to help the business reach the business goals.
• Plan and budget for local infrastructure to include: servers (virtual and physical), network, security, personal equipment etc
• Ensure that local systems cover business requirements, implement gaps and support.
• Evaluate and prioritize improvements to the organization's local IT infrastructure.
• Install and then maintain systems, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
• Ensure the smooth and secure operation
• Lead projects and roll-out group initiatives
• Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team to ensure the organization's IT goals are implemented effectively, consistently and according to established guidelines and budgets.

Skills and Qualifications

• University degree in technology or computer science
• 5+ years experience in IT management
• Experience at a broad range of Microsoft (O365, MS Exchange, Active Directory, Teams etc), Virtualisation (VNWare), Networks (Cisco) and Security (Checkpoint) technologies or similar. Understanding of core internet technologies - structured cabling, DHCP, DNS, mail transport, TCP/IP.
• Expertise with implementing, configuring, and testing solutions
• Experience working with operations and business teams to communicate problem impacts and to understand business requirements.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining the ERP system (preferably SAP)
• Proficient in both oral and written English
• Proven leadership skills
• Strong creative and analytical thinking
• Experience communicating cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings.
