Junior DevOps Engineer

We are Ukrainian product startup in the area of IoT (Internet Of Things) which is developing a new generation of smart home automation systems. Our key competences is a huge expertise in embedded and in the consumer market. Our team works at firmwaring and developing new sensors, mobile phone applications (Android and iOS) and backends, which will be used by thousands of Ukrainians and millions of wordwide customers.

We are searching for Junior DevOps engineer for the product team. This is a possibility to work with such technologies, as kubernetes, docker, AWS (IoT stack) in the constantly changing environment. This position requires the skills of automatisation and monitoring of all the components of the infrastructure.

Qualifications and Skills

• 1+ years of experience in IT as DevOps Engineer- Experience with AWS
  
• Bash as a must
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux based system
• Experience with docker, docker-compose, docker orchestration
• Experience with CI/CD (Atlassian stack, can use Gitlab CI/CD)
• Good experience of implementation infrastructure-as-code approach
• Good understanding of web applications architecture
  

Would be a plus

• Basic knowledge of programming languages (Python, JavaScript, etc.)
• AWS IOT stack (Greengras, Shadows, etc.)
• Experience with Fabric
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with modern monitoring toolset
• Experience with Relational databases, NoSql

Responsibilities

• Maintain build and development DEV, UAT, PROD environments. - Define and follow release process including related best practices.
• Create/Update/Upgrade CI/CD processes.- Define and create build and release pipelines.- Work on release automation (Continuous Delivery).- Work on build automation (Continuous Integration).- Implementation of security best practices.- Design, implement and support any tool related to DevOps architecture.
