Fleet Manager (REMOTE, US Company)

Requirements: 

• Fluent American English;
• Knowledge of the basics of car mechanics, the ability to navigate the breakdowns and parts;
• Ability to work with people, communication skills, tact, stress resistance, learnability, quick thinking;
• A computer with good headphones and a microphone, uninterrupted high-speed Internet access;
• Previous experience in logistics/dispatching/freight company will be a plus.

Work conditions: 

• Remote work from home for US company;
• Full-time position (8:30 am — 5:00 pm, Chicago time);
• Competitive salary: $2000 ($1000 salary and $1000 bonus based on results) after the probation period;
• Probation period up to 3 months, but could be shorten depending on how quickly you get used to the position.

Responsibilities: 

• Advising drivers and dispatchers in case of a truck accident via phone;
• Advising drivers on completing PTI checks;
• Monitoring Company’s score on FMCSA portal;
• Searching for the best service for a driver with the best price in case of a breakdown;
• Coordinating fuel efficiency and cooperating with a Fuel Advisor;
• Collecting fleet-related documents, such as logbooks and fuel receipts, and preparation of monthly reports; 
• Collecting of information on road traffic incidents and preparation of reports; 
• Monitoring due dates of internal truck inspections and update system reports in timely and proper manner;
• Researching new repairing centers and providers in order to widen Company’s database and ensure the best options are used;
• Maintaining a database of vehicle assignments and persons responsible and cooperating closely with dispatching team.
