Head of Academic Department

The group of educational companies STUDY.UA is engaged in a full cycle of educational programs in Ukraine and abroad, opening the position of Head of the Academic Department. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic academic manager to lead a teaching and support team in our international education company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the academic team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality educational programs, and promoting student success.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership and management of a team of teachers and methodical department, setting directions and support to ensure the implementation of high-quality educational programs
• Develop and implement academic policies and procedures consistent with the objectives and tasks of the company
• Planning and monitoring the implementation of educational programs, ensuring them compliance with the needs of students and compliance with international educational standards
• Organization and tracking of students' success through teacher certification;
• Management of the budget of the academic team, ensuring effective use of resources
• Cooperation with other departments of the company such as:  marketing, finance, customer service, sales, and administrative department
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders including students, teachers, parents
• To be an ambassador of modern trends and developments in international education and include this knowledge in the development and implementation of academic programs.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• International pedagogical education
• More than 5 years of experience in a managerial position in an educational company
• Proven experience in managing teams and providing high-quality training programs
• Strong organizational and planning skills, ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
• Passion for learning and desire for student success
• Experience in budget management and financial planning
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to the full realization of its potential
• Level of English C1
