Major Accountabilities:

  •  On-going monitoring, research and understanding of needs and requirements of key stakeholders (MoH, NSZU, MZU, other possible public and private payers, 3rd party Intl. Procurement Agencies, HCP & Patient associations, and others.
  •  Develops, aligns, and implements market access strategy reflecting situation in Ukraine (lack of financing, limited coverage of public healthcare system, challenges imposed by martial law), aligned with portfolio pipeline and business priorities.
  •  Works with external stakeholders to increase access both via providing recommendations and sharing EU best practices on improving “breadth” (inclusion of new molecules) and “depth” (100% need coverage) of access.
  •  Proactively cooperates with external stakeholders to enhance reimbursement programs identifying potential areas for new molecules, nosologies under reimbursement scope and increase coverage.
  •  Generally, promotes acceptance and usage of biosimilars across different TAs, providing recommendations to external stakeholders on enhancement of treatment protocols in line with the most recent developments in the EU, US etc.
  •  Monitoring and proactive cooperation with external stakeholders on enhancing public price management policies (e.g. reference pricing), implementation of required actions to comply with regulations.
  •  Ongoing identification of changes in external environment, their implications on SDZ business and related risks and opportunities; communication to management team and joint development of plans to capitalize on opportunities or mitigate risks.
  •  Represents company and promotes its interest via active participation in industry & business associations, review and providing feedback on draft legislation in the field of healthcare.
  •  Actively supports company as local pharma is undergoing changes in line with EU integration efforts.
  •  Leads work to set up a generic / biosimilar association in Ukraine to promote industry-specific agenda.
  •  Manages relations with key external stakeholders, including state & regulatory bodies as well as patient associations.
  •  Assures high quality communications necessary to successfully complete all tasks mentioned above.

Role Requirements:
 
Education: University degree. Additional education in Public Health, Medicines, Pharmacy or Health Economics is a plus.
 
Experience: Experience related to Market Access affairs – at least 5 years (e.g. experience in negotiations with local health authorities, government organizations, payers, hospital administrators etc.). Solid record of successful relationship management.

  •  Strong communication, interpersonal and cross functional teamwork skills.

  •  Remains flexible, resourceful, and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
  •  Advanced/Fluent written and verbal business English.
