Junior accountant

VARAMAR - the international shipping group of companies is looking for a junior accountant/financial manager. We are presented in 13 countries around the globe. 

The role will be full-time, working remotely either on-site, with a preference for a candidate located within Europe (Odesa, Antwerp, Hamburg) or at least within a GMT/CET time zone. 

Key duties and responsibilities:  

• - making wire bank transfers in  international banks 
• - bank statements entering into 1C system and others 
• - Maintenance of overhead costs 
• - Work with external accountants, tax advisors, auditors and other service providers 
• - issuing invoices and acts for Ukrainian companies 
• - arranging sales invoices 
• - closing of transactions with the company partners 
• - providing summary data on foreign currency accounts of one of the companies

  Requirements: 

• - Bachelor’s degree in accountancy  or similar financial qualification 
• and at least 2 years experience as an accountant 
• - English skills 
• - Strong attention to detail 
• - Ability to work under limited supervision or individually
