Your mission as Head of SEO is to build SEO channel at Mate academy from 0 to 1 and make SEO ROI positive channel for business. You will play a key role in creation and implementing SEO strategy in all locations we operate (Ukraine, Poland, Brazil and Tier 1).

What will you need to succeed

• 3+ years of experience as SEO specialist;
• Hands-on experience in link building, managing content writing process, working with developers to eliminate tech errors;
• Strong analytical skills (advanced level of Excel/Google Sheets) to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions;
• Technical expertise (knowledge of technical aspects of SEO) and deep understanding of how search engines work;
• Extensive experience in the UA market. Polish and Tier 1 market experience is a plus;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and effectively;
• Getting things done approach;
• Upper-intermediate English;
• Technical backgroung is a huge plus.

Your tasks will be

• Full ownership over SEO function at Mate;
• Creation and implementation SEO strategy in collaboration with product development teams;
• Hire and manage part-time writers and link builders to implement the SEO strategy effectively;
• Oversee content SEO initiatives across all markets to maximize organic traffic;
• The data-driven approach in your decisions and work on all levels. You need to track analytics for website traffic (excluding paid ads). Understand how it grows, how much leads it generates, etc.

Your goals will be

• Build a SEO strategy for 1 year;
• Website development in Ukraine, Poland, Brazil and Tier 1.
• Increase organic traffic 2x in 1 year with positive ROI;
• Make SEO ROI positive channel for business.

Your team

You`ll be a part of Marketing team. We use a data-driven approach to make decisions and find significant data insights to improve different metrics. Our CMO Sviat Stepanenko will be your direct manager.

• Call with the Head of Talent Acquisition (in Google Meet);
• Test assignment;
• Technical interview with CMO;
• Culture fit interview with company founders.
