The overall purpose of the position is supporting our team of Sales representatives in a number of administrative and commercial tasks, ranging from generating business leads, following up on system updates and documentation, reporting, and supporting small clients with queries on services, pricing etc. (chiefly online), and reporting on sales metrics using SalesForce system.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Building a good understanding of target customers and their business.
  • Maximizing the impact of transactional sales through effective probing and lead qualification.
  • Providing a personalised service and building relationships with customers.
  • Tracking competitor information and market trends and suggesting required action.
  • Formulating and managing service contracts with customers.
  • Communicating service or rate changes, notable trends, policies and other relevant information to assigned accounts.
  • Assisting with processing price quotes and rate negotiations.
  • Ensuring customer relationship management tools are updated on time and are of excellent quality.
  • Responsibility for supporting chiefly small/medium size impact client base.
  • Supporting sales team with handling of technical/administrative tasks.

 

We are looking for:

 

  • Prior experience (min. 2 years) in a Sales-related or Customer Service/Administration function, preferably in a shipping and or logistics business.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, ideally in a related field.
  • Fluent English, written and spoken.
  • Native/ proficient Ukrainian.
  • MS office literacy, ideally prior reporting (basic Excel functionalities) experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Self-motivation combined with ability to follow direction; the successful candidate must be able to work successfully both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and change with a positive attitude while maintaining a high level of quality and productivity.
  • Strong business and commercial mind-set, strong grasp and focus on strategic requirements.
  • Salesforce and/or SAP knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience in complex logistics operations is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Resilient team player who is goal-orientated and demonstrates a high level of commitment with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • A valid right to live and work in Ukraine.
