AlphaNovel is a new product within the SocialTech ecosystem. Our goal is to build a global multilingual platform for readers and writers of next-generation novels that can share and promote their content on our platform. We already launched MVP and are eager to scale up our partnership & agencies side!  

AlphaNovel is designed to be both readers- and author-friendly digital platform focusing on Tier-1 markets. We want to present readers with the newest and brightest variety of works while offering authors data-driven ways to increase the number of readers and monetize their work.

The ambitious goal is to build a new Netflix in the world of books.

Our superpower is a well-rounded team of business and tech professionals who are not afraid of the new challenges and are passionate about their work.

 The team consists of 10 people and is growing every day, and therefore we do not have any bureaucracy, official hierarchy or any type of decision-making and actions bottlenecks. Each team member has the opportunity to propose an idea that can turn into a new function or product.

Now we are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager who will contribute to our growth by unlocking key international partnerships opportunities to scale up our business from both riders' and authors' sides!

Your Responsibilities:

— Full-Cycle B2B CRM ownership: mapping, reach out and partnerships build-up with our key publishing partners and external stakeholders; 

— B2B Content Acquisition strategy based on ROI-driven approaches; 

— Growth driver via a constant feedback loop to product and marketing team;

— Networking with agents with an eye toward a steady submissions stream;

— Building and managing a list of titles and catalogs;

— Leveraging internal/external data, market research, social media, competitive analysis, and other insights, to develop strategies and projects that can drive growth.

What You Bring to AlphaNovel:

— Strong attention to detail and an exceptional follow-through ability;

— Sharp organizational skills to maintain simultaneous projects and different stakeholders workflows;

— C1 English level;

— A can-do, self-starter mentality with a willingness to perform tasks both big and small;

— Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to Haves:

— General interest in product growth, media, publishing, and technology;

— Exposure within talent or literary agency, or at a publishing house, particularly in the digital content space;

— An interest in popular fiction and/or a willingness to learn about romance content distribution and monetization.
