Content & Translation Manager

A friendly and active team of Decathlon Ukraine, a French designer, producer and retailer of sports products, is looking for a team player to the Translation and Communication department. What you have to do

Your role is to guarantee the quality, availability and distribution of written content within the company by helping to manage the process of translation. It involves translating, editing/proofreading, managing the cooperation with suppliers, negotiating costs and deadlines, etc.

You will deal with product descriptions and related content, point-of-sale communication, internal tools. You will also take care of the translation of contents related to loyalty programs, mailings, sports guides, internal training modules, etc. In addition, close cooperation with colleagues from around the world is a part of the job.

You will have a very strong impact on team and business activity of Decathlon in Ukraine.

Who you are

• You love sports and have an active lifestyle.
• You speak English, Ukrainian and Russian fluently. The knowledge of French is not compulsory but would be an asset.
• You have experience of working as a translator/editor of at least 1 year and want to grow as a professional in translation and merchandising fields.
• You are a team player, not a loner.
• You are tech-savvy since dealing with a variety of software is a part of the daily work routine.
• You are organized, flexible and have a start-up mindset.
• You are not afraid to take initiative and take decisions on your own.
• You have good negotiation skills.
