Data Analyst

Frag Lab studio is a videogames development company based in Kyiv and focused on next gen AAA games creation. Our team of industry veterans is now working on a new revolutionary IP and we are looking for a passionate Data Analyst.

You will be developing a solid platform to grant a whole spectrum of analytical support for the entire team. Provide insights, highlight issues, hunt for epic wins to become an outpost of truth and an integral part of data driven development. Data must flow!

Responsibilities

• Provide low-latency analytical support in response to all production needs
• Provide a data modeling support for the team
• Develop automation tools for data manipulations
• Provide detailed technical documentation
• Within a team generate insights for future implementations

Requirements

• Understand the nature of game data and be familiar with development process
• Experience in data analysis / statistics or related fields (e.g. data engineering, DB architecture, etc.)
• Proficiency with Tableau
• Proficiency with SQL
• Experience with Python
• Being familiar with data visualization core concepts
• Basic knowledge and understanding of Hadoop platform
• Understanding of Kafka / Spark / YARN core concepts
• English proficiency to read/write docs
• Presentation skills
• Storytelling skills
• Statistical / computational skills as well

Optional (any of each considered as a plus)

• ELK stack
• Java/Scala
• D3.js/amCharts/HighCharts
• Machine learning with Python / Spark ML
• Spark Streaming/Kafka KSQL
• Kaggle competitions / notebooks
• Conference talks/workshops/videos/texts in domain
• Game design experience
