DevOps (AWS) Middle Engineer #9100

   Our client is a US company that operates as a financial lender of installment loans for consumers to use at the point of sale to finance a purchase and helps people to get consumer credits in transparent and friendly way. Engineering organization is focused on creating robust, modern micro-services application implemented in Python and Kotlin. 

   This Infrastructure team is building a framework for other teams, so they could add their microservices to pipelines running on AWS/Kubernetes/Docker environment. Besides that, the team is working on own Python microservices for local needs. 

Responsibilities

•          Work on migration existing services to a newer approach based on Docker/Kubernetes

•          Establish and implement the best practices of centralized logging and monitoring

•          Work closely with Engineering teams

•          Work in close contact with team members and project stakeholders on the client’s site

•          Ensure uptime and high availability of infrastructure services

•          Reduce key operational performance indicators

Requirements (required)

•          3+ years in DevOps/System administration

•          1+ years of experience with AWS 

•          Commercial experience with Kubernetes, Docker, RabbitMQ

•          Distributed system knowledge 

•          Scripting experience (Python is preferrable)

•          Hands-on experience of working with production environments with zero tolerance to any errors

•          Experience in Agile development environments

•          Sufficient English level for communication (verbal & written)
