Front-end (React) Team Lead #8292

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Our client is a US company working in fintech sector and focused on becoming the global standard for modern card issuing. Their journey is about simplifying payments for businesses, and as of now they define modern card issuing category. On this project you’d work with established internal app providing vast amount of functionality to its users. Customer carries a big group of talented frontend developers open to innovation, suggestions and collaboration. As part of this greater team, you’d have an ability to influence and improve apps that fulfill business needs for a Forbes listed company.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement FE functionality in React based app
• Refactor codebase to increase the reliability and performance of a solution
• Cover implemented functionality with a sufficient number of tests
• Take an active role in architectural discussions
• Work closely with Engineering teams
• Work in close contact with team members and project stakeholders on the client’s site
• Blend in our clients engineering culture
• Establish required team processes and facilitate their usage
• Manage team velocity and quality of work

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

MUST have:

• Strong JavaScript knowledge
• Commercial WEB development experience 5+ years
• Fluent with React
• Good unit and E2E testing skills
• Full application lifecycle experience
• Debugging skills
• Can work with cross-team members on large and complex projects
• Good English and communication skills (Upper-intermediate)
• Accountability and self organization
• Fast research and learning skills
