JavaScript Engineer #6581

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Our customer takes the leading position in advanced data analytics and engineering expertise. We are seeking a JavaScript Engineer for one of the projects that pertain to the analytics of the car racings. The goal of the project is the prediction of racing result based on real-time sensors data and evaluations of multiple scenarios during the race to make crucial decisions.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver high-quality content for both frontend and backend
• Support of current solution and new functions in long term perspective
• Provide profiling and optimization of bottlenecks
• Analyze and estimate implementation efforts
• Report to supervisor about ongoing tasks status, technical and other risks

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Commercial WEB development experience 3+ years
• Strong JavaScript skills
• Good skills with React/Redux
• Experience with responsive design
• Experience with single page application implementation
• Experience with node.js
• Understanding of REST architecture
• HTML/CSS
• Unit testing experience
• Experience with debugging, profiling and optimization
• SCM tools (Bitbucket, GIT etc.)
• Sufficient English level for communication (verbal & written)
• Full application lifecycle experience
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Team working experience
• Fast research and learning skills

WOULD BE A PLUS

• Sequelize ORM
• Experience with CI/CD and related tools like CircleCI
• Experience with zeplin.io
• Design patterns
• Rest services authoring
